Gǃòʼé ǃHú

Gǃòʼé ǃHú

Gǃòʼé ǃHú was discovered in 2008 by astronomers led by Keith S. Noll using the Hubble Space Telescope. This moon, with an estimated diameter of approximately 142 kilometers (88 miles), orbits Gǃkúnǁʼhòmdímà at around 6,000 kilometers (3,700 miles). Named after a figure in Juǀʼhoansi mythology, Gǃòʼé ǃHú is the horn of the aardvark girl Gǃkúnǁʼhòmdímà. Gǃòʼé ǃHú has a very eccentric orbit with Gǃkúnǁʼhòmdímà.
